Jennifer's journey from small-town Kansas to the demanding legal landscapes of Wall Street and in-house leadership at a national insurance carrier has shaped a unique perspective. At Structura Law, thispowerful combination translates into targeted strategies, efficient advocacy, and a client-centered experience designed to navigate your most challenging legal matters effectively.
A Journey Defined by Excellence and Experience
Jennifer's path reflects a consistent pursuit of excellence and a deep commitment to understanding the intricacies of the legal system from multiple angles. After graduating cum laude from Kansas State University, she attended Columbia Law School, where she distinguished herself as a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and served as Editor-in-Chief of the Columbia Human Rights Law Review.
Her legal career began with a prestigious clerkship for The Honorable Louis H. Pollak in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Serving as lead clerk in several high-stakes trials, this formative experience provided Jennifer with invaluable insight into judicial decision-making – knowledge that continues to inform her strategic approach and trial preparation today.
National Experience, Rooted in Colorado
Before establishing Structura Law, Jennifer honed her skills at elite New York law firms where she represented Fortune 500 clients in complex litigation matters, gaining extensive experience in high-stakes commercial disputes.
Jennifer later transitioned to an in-house leadership role serving as Vice President and Chief Litigation Officer for seven years. In this pivotal position, Jennifer oversaw nationwide litigation strategy, advised C-suite executives on managing legal risks, and led strategy calls on critical bad faith matters. This unique experience provides Structura Law with an unparalleled insider perspective on how insurance companies evaluate claims and approach litigation – a distinct advantage for our clients.
